Deity

A deity frequently depicted in the decorated tombs of the Valley of the Queens. The name means "Foremost of Ma'at or truth" and he is usually depicted naked and seated with a finger to the mouth. It is believed that Hery-Ma'at is a solarized form of the deceased.
