Thuyu was the mother of Tiye, wife of Amenhetep III, and was buried in KV 46 with her husband, Yuya. The queen’s mother bore the titles of “King’s Mother of the Great Royal Wife, “Chief of the Harim of Min," “Chief of the Harim of Amen," “Priestess of Amen," and “Singer of Hathor."
