Sekhmet

Deity
15536.jpg

A lion-headed goddess (perhaps from Awsim), later seen as a manifestation of Mut's aggressive character. Many statues of Sekhmet survive in the Temple of Mut at Karnak. She is the consort of Ptah and perhaps the mother of Nefertem in the Memphite Triad.
