Kheker frieze & Geb
(#14647)

The god of the earth, often shown as a reclining human figure, sometimes with a goose on his head. Responsible for vegetation, Geb was sometimes colored green with plants springing from his body. His wife (and sister) was Nut, goddess of the sky, his parents Shu (air) and Tefnut (moisture), and his grandfather Atum. Geb and Nut were parents of Osiris, Isis, Seth, and Nephthys. Geb was associated with earthquakes and death, but also with fertility.
